Flyers îl achiziționează pe fundașul David Jiricek de la Minnesota în schimbul lui Bobby Brink

Conform nhl.com, Philadelphia Flyers a anunțat astăzi că a achiziționat fundașul David Jiricek de la Minnesota Wild în schimbul atacantului Bobby Brink, a declarat Directorul General Daniel Briere. Jiricek va raporta la echipa Lehigh Valley Phantoms din American Hockey League (AHL).

David Jiricek, în vârstă de 22 de ani (născut pe 28 noiembrie 2003), a fost selecționat inițial de Columbus în prima rundă (6 în general) a Draftului NHL din 2022. A jucat în 84 de meciuri în NHL cu Blue Jackets (2022–2025) și cu Wild (2024–2026), înregistrând două goluri și 11 asisturi pentru un total de 13 puncte. De asemenea, a petrecut părți din patru sezoane în American Hockey League cu Cleveland Monsters (2022–2025) și Iowa Wild (2024–2026), unde a totalizat 17 goluri și 60 de asisturi pentru 77 de puncte în 139 de meciuri.

Jiricek, care are o înălțime de 1,93 metri și cântărește 93 kg, a împărțit timpul în acest sezon între Minnesota și Iowa, înregistrând două goluri și 10 puncte în 24 de meciuri cu Iowa.
