Pixel Watch 5 teaser pokes fun at Apple, Samsung by having ‘decency to look like a watch’ - 9to5Google

Following teasers for the 11 Pro and 11 Pro Fold over the past week, Google today finally released a video for the Pixel Watch 5. The main premise of this promo is that the Pixel Watch 5 is a smartwatch that “tracks your health, sleep and fitness,” but doesn’t look like one. An analog watch face is shown (Abstract). To the best of my memory, the “still has the decency to look like a watch” line is the first time Google has emphasized the Pixel Watch’s circular design against competitors. It comes as the Apple Watch remains a rectangle, while the Galaxy Watch has firmly moved to the squircle shape.
