At this point, it’s clear that Samsung is planning to launch a Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Z Fold 8, with the latter taking on a wider design when compared. The latest leaked render shows just how big of a difference there is between the two new foldables. A rendered image of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra was posted online by leaker @UniverseIce to compare both sizes. The image is reportedly true to scale, though it’s impossible to verify until the announcement is official. A Galaxy S26 is also spotted in the image as a reference point, and the differences between the devices are telling. First, this hardens the rumor that Samsung plans to release the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra in a form factor that emulates what the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and several editions before it did. That means a taller device with a slimmer front display and a taller internal screen.
